Hope for Us sponsors children between the ages of 6 and 11 to attend St. Vincent de Paul Sleepaway Summer Camp. At St. Vincent de Paul Summer Camp, the emphasis is always on participation, effort and attitude! Hope for Us believes camp is that rare place where a child can be a winner. St. Vincent de Paul Summer Camp, located in Putnam Valley of Upstate New York, is a one-week summer camp known for being a community where children can grow, discover, build confidence, and form lifelong friendships.  Campers often take their invaluable summer camp experiences from St. Vincent de Paul Summer Camp with them into adulthood. Many of the staff members at St. Vincent de Paul Summer Camp were once campers. They now return to St. Vincent de Paul Summer Camp, as staff, to pass down their unique experience to the next generation of campers. The staff at St. Vincent de Paul Camp are fun, loving, and caring individuals who know how to make activities, special events, and every moment of every day at camp memorable. Evenings are filled with activities such as scavenger hunts, campfires, talent shows, and much more! The staff at St. Vincent de Paul Summer Camp pays special attention to the health and safety of each camper. Every activity starts with safe equipment, sensible rules, and excellent supervision. In addition, St. Vincent de Paul Summer Camp has a licensed nurse on-site. Sign-ups will being in April.
