Hope for Us conducts a visual arts program at Montefiore Children's Hospital's Hematology unit every Sunday. This art program gives Hope for Us a chance to bring a more positive experience to children that face various illnesses. We believe that children should be made to feel as comfortable as possible during their stay at a hospital. Visual arts serves as a way for children to explore their creative intellect. Engaging with the arts is also a creative and safe way to help people cope with stress, illness, trauma, and other conditions.
